Spray both foam faces
Taftbond HM969G is a spray-grade neoprene adhesive. Spray an even coat onto the foam and the surface it joins, covering at least 90 percent of each face.

Frequently asked questions
It is a spray-grade contact adhesive for conventional air-assisted spray equipment. Spray an even coat on both surfaces, let it tack off, then bond under firm roller pressure. Coverage is about 7 m2 per litre.
It is not suitable for polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), Teflon, silicone or expanded polystyrene foam.
HM969G bonds stainless steel, natural rubber, most plastics, wood, rock wool, veneers and PU foams, per the Vitrochem TDS. It is a versatile contact adhesive for panel and laminate work across these substrates.
HM969G is tack-free in 5 to 10 minutes at 30 C and has an open time of about 30 minutes, per the Vitrochem TDS. Bond the surfaces within the open time, after the coat has tacked off but before it dries out.
The cured HM969G bond has a temperature resistance of up to 60 C per the Vitrochem TDS, alongside good resistance to ageing, water and non-aromatic fuels.
HM969G should be applied between 15 C and 35 C per the Vitrochem TDS. It has a 16% solid content, and a moderate even coat gives a coverage of about 7 square metres per litre.
HM969G is supplied in a 20 litre drum and has a 12-month shelf life when stored at around 25 C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and open flame.
HM969G is a green coloured liquid per the Vitrochem TDS. The colour makes it easy to see where the adhesive has been sprayed, so you can confirm an even coat and at least 90% coverage on both surfaces before bonding.
