AFT 2064WF is a 0.64 mm white acrylic foam tape, the thinnest white grade, for clean, low-profile structural bonds on metal, aluminium, stainless steel, acrylic and glass. The white foam keeps the bond line discreet on visible joints such as automotive trim, signage and facade panels, while distributing load evenly instead of concentrating it at fastener points. The thin profile suits close-fitting, flush bonds where minimal gap filling is needed.

Acrylic foam core
The conformable foam core sits between the two panels and spreads load across the whole bond line, so there are no stress points. It flexes to take up panel movement, vibration and thermal expansion.
High-tack faces
Both faces grip on contact, so press firmly onto clean, dry panels that have been wiped clean and lightly abraded first.

Sign faces
Wipe the face and the sign body clean and dry, then apply the tape to the body in a continuous run. Press the illuminated face on firmly so it sits flush, with no drilling and no fixings showing on the front.
Returns & rim
Run the tape around the inside of the rim and returns, following the edge of the face. Press each section down as you go so the join stays tight, giving a clean fastener-free edge that hides the bond line.
Concealed mount
Holds the sign body to its support while hiding the fixings, and the foam core takes up movement between the two dissimilar materials it joins.

Frequently asked questions
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF is a 0.64 mm white acrylic foam tape, the thinnest in the white series, for structural bonding on metal, aluminium, stainless steel, acrylic and glass. Its white foam gives a clean look on visible joints, suiting automotive side guards and sun visors, truck canopies, outdoor cladding, signage and facade panels.
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF has a 180-degree peel strength of 4000 g/25mm and a tensile strength of 6000 gf/cm2, the highest peel value in the Mightyloc white foam series. The acrylic foam distributes load evenly across the bond line rather than at fastener points, so it suits structural panel bonding without visible rivets on the facade.
At 0.64 mm, Mightyloc AFT 2064WF is the thinnest acrylic foam tape in the white series, sitting below the 1.2 mm AFT 2120WF. The thin profile suits close-fitting, flat bonds where minimal gap-filling is needed and where a low-visibility bond line matters, such as flush automotive trims and sun visors. For uneven gaps, the thicker 2120WF is the better choice.
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF holds a 1000 gram static load for more than 24 hours on stainless steel at 80 degrees C in holding-power testing. That confirms it resists creep under sustained load even at elevated temperature, which is important for vertical and outdoor bonds on cladding and facade panels in hot climates.
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF has a temperature resistance of 100 degrees C and is best applied within an ambient temperature of 15 to 35 degrees C for proper wet-out. Its viscoelastic foam accommodates the differing expansion and contraction of dissimilar bonded substrates through temperature cycling, suiting outdoor automotive and cladding applications.
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF ships as a 33 m log at 800 mm standard log width, slit to your required widths. The TDS does not list standard slit widths for the white foam series, so contact the MightyLoc team to confirm exact slit-width availability for your application before ordering.
Clean and dry surfaces with IPA (use heptane for oily surfaces, never oil-based solvents) and abrade the surfaces before applying Mightyloc AFT 2064WF. Apply from one end to avoid trapped air, roll the full length firmly with a J-roller, and press parts together only once aligned. Leave the joint undisturbed while the bond builds toward full strength.
Mightyloc AFT 2064WF has a 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture. Store it at a constant 25 to 30 degrees C, away from high humidity and direct sunlight, and keep unused rolls clean and free of dust and grease. Keep the tape in its wrapper and never stack rolls without a release liner separating the layers.
