Anaerobic Adhesives
Taftlock™ thread locking adhesive is an anaerobic-based polymer that will only cure in the absence of moisture in its surrounding. It will result in a tough and resilient polymer that will lock and seal any metal screws, fasteners, and rivets that are being applied to any heavy type of machinery, automotive engines, and electronic equipment. These thread-locking adhesives are widely used by manufacturing and general assembly companies to prevent any loosening of screws from the equipment during operation. Taftlock™ thread locking adhesives are available in Low, Medium, and High torque strength that not only prevent screws from dislodging but it has a sealing, and lubricating effect, with good resistance to engine oils, coolants, and brake fluids.
TAFTLOCK 22 Low Strength
Taftlock™ 22 is a fast-curing, low-strength anaerobic thread-locking compound for bonding and sealing threads, and retaining of cylindrical parts. Taftlock™ 22 is highly resistance to heat, vibrations, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, and many chemicals.

- Make sure the fastener parts are of the metallic surface.
- Adhesive will not react with non-metal surfaces.
- Clean parts from oils, grease, or any contaminants before applying adhesive.
- Apply adhesive sparingly to the threaded part of the screws.
- Wipe off the excess adhesive from the surface.
- Wipe bottle tip clean after using.
- Store in a cool and dark area.
